Loneliness
Loneliness
When nobody care, you remain there
in your embrace I get rid of despair.
you explain me complexities of life,
you are a true partner, my right pair
when world restricts me to patiently thrive,
you pacify me, to confront you they never dare.
you never judge me, never grudge on me,
In good or bad , you always adhere,
When everybody leaves me alone,
O! Loneliness you owns me and take care.
When nobody care, you remain there
in your embrace I get rid of despair.

We all need that embrace but sometimes it can be too much to live with. Life is so full of complexity.
ReplyDeleteNice one...:)
ReplyDeleteLoneliness does come in our hours of sadness but we must never let it engulf us...nice thoughts....
ReplyDeletei agree, we all need to think that people care...touch and embrace is so important as well...and when you feel no one does the world gets all the colder
ReplyDeleteluv how you befriends the solitude
ReplyDeletemuch love...
I believe your poem to express the idea that in being alone one can find oneself refreshed & rid oneself of despair. I do think this is sometimes true. We can find the way oftentimes in a solitary sort of way!
ReplyDeleteLoneliness can be helpful if treated in a good way! It can be depressing if out of control! Wonderful lines Cifar!

Lovely and serene words. Someone who cares is the greatest gift.
ReplyDeleteLoneliness can be a friend too :)
ReplyDeleteNice one, Cifar!
I found it very interesting that you took loneliness to be the opposite of despair. In my mind I normally equate the two.
ReplyDeleteA unique response to the prompt. We all need explanations of life's complexities sometimes.
ReplyDeleteA hopeful poem. True partner is the one who embraces you with all your flaws and complexity without any prejudices. I can relate to it. Touch wood! :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you seek the loneliness to be a way to heal you from despair. Sometimes we have to seek and embrace it.
ReplyDeleteI like how you repeated the beginning at the end.
ReplyDeleteIn loneliness we find ourselves. A beautiful poem.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if you are talking about a person, or that loneliness itself helps you reflect… either way, very nice.
ReplyDeleteYes, there comes, at times, the need of that special hug. Nice one!!
ReplyDeleteDespair vanished with an embrace . . . what a lovely thought!
ReplyDeletejust nice great thoughts
ReplyDeleteA special somebody in our life can really rescue us from the clutches of loneliness...
ReplyDeleteI understand what you're saying here since I've been in this place which often has brought out the poetry inside of me. Loneliness does not have to be a bad thing to be feared or despised. It's a state that brings us back to ourselves when others cannot fulfill the need that we have.
ReplyDeleteParadoxical beauty you have expressed in these lines.
