In my poem I have used this image to convey that the invisible bag of life we carry on our shoulders is nothing but our greed to earn more money making us part of the rat race. जीवन की गठरी उठाए चला हूँ ,
ख़ुद को ही ख़ुद में छुपाए चला हूँ,
दो पल को बैठूं सोचूं ज़रा सा,
क्यों अदृशय भार से ख़ुद को दबाए चला हूँ। 
Jivan Ki Gathri Uthai Chala Hun,
Khud Ko Hi Khud Mein Chupai Chala Hun,
Do Pal Ko Baithun Sochon Zara Sa,
Kyun Adrishya Bhar Se Khud Ko Dabai Chala Hun. 

एक के पीछे एक दौड़ लगी है,
सब भागें है कोई मंज़िल नहीं है,
धक्को से में हो गया हूँ पक्का,
ये झूठी उम्मीद बंधाए चला हूँ। 
Ek Ke Peeche Ek Daud Lagi Hai,
Sab Bhagein Hain Koi Manzil Nahi Hai,
Dhakkon Se Mein Ho Gaya Hun Pakka,
Ye Jhuti Ummeed Bandhai Chala Hin.

मुसाफ़िर-मुसाफ़िर को जाने नहीं है,
अपना अक्स तक भी पहचाने नहीं है,
न दोस्ती की बातें, न प्यार की मुलाकातें,
पैसो के समंदर में अरमानों को डुबाए चला हूँ। 
Musafir-Musafir Ko Jaane Nahin Hain,
Apna Aks Tak Bhi Pehchaane Nahi Hai,
Na Dosti Ki Baatein, Na Pyaar Ki Mulaqaatein,
Paiso Ke Samandar Mein Armano Ko Dubai Chala Hun.

जीने को जिया पर जिया ही नहीं,
जो चाहता था वो तो किया ही नहीं,
औरों से बने और खो गए,
ये शर्मिंदगी ताउम्र उठाए चला हूँ। 
Jine Ko Jiya Par Jiya Hi Nahin,
Jo Chahata Tha Wo To Kiya Hi Nahin,
Auron Se Bane Aur Kho Gaye,
Ye Sharmindagi Taumr Uthae Chala Hun.


गठरी (Gathri) - Baggage/Weight ;  अदृशय (Adrishya) - Invisible ;  धक्को (Dhakkon ) - Push ; अक्स (Aks ) - Reflection ; ताउम्र (Taumr ) - Lifelong .
