कौन आएगा यहाँ कोई न आया होगा। (Kaun Aayega Yahan Koi Na Aaya Hoga) - Who Will Come,No One Would Come Here - Kaif Bhopali Kaif Bhopali is known for his song 'Chalo Dildar Chalo Chand Ke Paar Chalo ' in 1972 movie Pakeezah . 'Kaun Aaega Yahan Koi Na Aaya Hoga' is one of his famous ghazal . The poet has described the emptiness in his life, the loneliness he is experiencing which one of the couplet(3) suggest was due to marriage of his daughter. I have tried to translate it here for your understanding. कल चौदहवी की रात थी! ( Yesterday it was the full moon night!) - Ibn-e-Insha Those who love Urdu Shayari must have heard or read the first sher of this ghazal. It is famous and have used in various movies also. I discovered today that this was written by the best humorist of Urdu language Ibn-e-Insha. I have posted complete ghazal along with its translation by me. It's in admiration of the poet's beloved and about his one sided love to her. He is comparing her face with that of the full moon on fourteenth day of the month and expressing his love in rest of the ghazal. अब तो घबरा के ये कहते है (In Panic now I say)- Ibrahim Zauq अब तो घबरा के ये कहते हैं कि मर जाएंगे, मर गए पर न लगा जी तो किधर जाएँगे। In panic now I say,It will be better to die, But if peace be not in death,whither then. सामने चश्मे-गुहरबार के ,कह दो दरिया, चढ़ के अगर आये तो नज़रों से उतर जाएँगे। In front of pearl like tears shedding eyes, tell river, that if you came climbing,you are out of sight then. ख़ाली ऐ चारागरों होंगे बहुत मरहमदान, पर मेरे ज़ख्म नहीं ऐसे कि भर जाएँगे। Too many salve box will get empty,doctors, but my wounds are such that not to be healed even then. पहुंचेंगे रहगुज़र-ए-यार तलक हम क्यूँ कर, पहले जब तक न दो आलम से गुज़र जाएँगे। Why do I reach to the way of my beloved, before whole universe i roam,until then. आग़ दोज़क़ की भी हो आएगी पानी-पानी, जब ये आसी अरक-ए-शर्म से तर जाएँगे। Fire of hell will also get ashamed when sinful get saturated in shame's perspiration then हम नहीं वो जो करें ...

Ghalib's - Sigh Needs(आह को चाहिए) आह को चाहिए एक उम्र असर होने तक, कौन जीता है तेरी ज़ुल्फ़ के सर होने तक। Sigh would need a lifetime to take effect, Who would live till your untangling of hair came to rest. दाम हर मौज में है हल्का-ए-सद काम-ए-नाहंग, देखें क्या गुज़रे है कतरे पे गौहर होने तक। Every wave is entrapped by open mouth crocodiles, Let's see what happen,till it becomes a pearl to a water droplet. आशिक़ी सब्र तलब और तमन्ना बेताब, दिल का क्या रंग करूँ खूने-जिगर होने तक। Love needs patience and desires are desperate, What color I should give,before red to my heart(before red to my heart means before getting death). हम ने माना के तघाफुल न करोगे लेकिन, ख़ाक हो जाएंगे हम तुमको ख़बर होने तक। I consider you won't neglect but, I will get passed away until this news you will get. पर्तव-ए-ख़ुर से है शबनम को फ़ना की तालीम, मैं भी हूँ एक इनायत की नज़र होने तक। A dew learnt to get perished from sun's rays, I am there until that look...
