This is all in love I have achieved, That even in self destruction, I laugh, not grieved. बेरुखी से हैं उनकी वाकिफ निगाहें, एक नज़र को पर उनकी तरसते हैं हम। Berukhi se hain unki waqif nigahein, Ek nazar ko par unki taraste hain hum. My eyes are well aware of her indifference, yet eagerly yearn just for her single glance. गुज़रते हैं वो ज़ालिम नकाब हटाकर ही, उन रास्तों पर जहाँ आहें भरते हैं हम। Guzarte hain wo zalim naqab hatakar hi, Un raaston par jahan aahein bharte hain hum. वो दिल ही क्या तिरे मिलने की जो दुआ न करे। Wo Dil Hi Kya Tere Milne Ki Jo Dua Na Kare - Qateel Shifai This is ' Qateel Shifai ' love ghazal where he is praying to die than to live in separation. In all stanzas he is demanding death or destruction or something like that for not getting love. The famous ' Sher ' from this ghazal ' Ye Theek Hai ........Juda Na Kare ' (third stanza) he is saying that no one die in love but even though no one should be separated as he know the pain of it. I have translated it here and hope you will like it.  वो दिल ही क्या तिरे मिलने की जो दुआ न करे,  मैं तुझ को भूल के ज़िंदा रहूँ ख़ुदा न करे।  Wo Dil Hi Kya Tere Milne Ki Jo Dua Na Kare, Mein Tujh Ko Bhul Ke Zinda Rahun Khuda Na Kare. शायरी # 12 (Couplets) - Faiz Ahmad Faiz  Faiz Ahmad Faiz is known for his revolutionary and love ghazals. Both shers(couplets)translated here are for hope. Hope that something better will come after sorrows, hope that someone you are longing for will come sooner or later. I hope you will like his couplets and my efforts at translation.  दिल न-उम्मीद तो नहीं नाकाम ही तो है, लम्बी है ग़म की शाम मगर शाम ही तो है।  Dil Na-Ummeed To Nahin Nakam Hi To Hai, Lambi Hai Gham Ki Shaam Magar Shaam Hi To Hai. शायरी - 7 (Couplets)  The two Shers (couplet ) which I have shared in this post are written by Daag Dehelvi . Both the couplets are summarizing the pain of separation and detachment from his beloved. I have translated these couplets for those who didn't understand Urdu/Hindi but if you understands the original language of this shayari then observe how beautifully he used words Jaan and Jaana in the first one and Bedard and Dard in the second.  ले चला जान मेरी रूठ के जाना तेरा, ऐसे आने से तो बेहतर था न आना तेरा। Le chala jaan meri rooth ke jana tera, Aise aane se to behtar tha na aana tera.
