 अब किसी को भी नज़र आती नहीं कोई दरार ! (Ab Kisi Ko Bhi Nazar Aati Nahin Koi Darar) Film actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha recited few couplets of this ghazal of Dushyant Kumar recently in a book release function. This ghazal is perfect satire on current political and social situation of the country right now. Where self boosting posters are hiding the broken walls, people are killed/beaten for following particular religion and even those who are speaking truth are targeted by followers of a leader or organization. Dushyant believed that once the countrymen are restless for change; the change will come. I have tried to translate this ghazal to be understand by wider audience. में जिसे ओढ़ता - बिछाता हूँ। (Mein Jise Odhta - Bichata Hun) - The One With Which I Am Frequent With - Dushyant Kumar Dushyant Kumar is most popular for his sher 'Ho Kahin Bhi Aag Lekin Aag Jalni Chahiye' . This ghazal 'Mein Jise Odhta-Bichata Hun' is a romantic one where poet is describing his love. Third couplet is used as a song in the recent released movie 'Masaan'. Poet describes this poem as his favorite one. He said that he forgets everything in his eyes and shivers when she passes across him. He said that people don't let him come out to express his love but his efforts have increased even more after closing of one door. He feels more closer to her in his attempt to forget her and in the end he said that he was an angel who would carry on with the relationship even though she didn't want it to continue. आग जलनी चाहिए।(Fire Should be there)- Dushyant Kumar हो गई है पीर पर्वत-सी पिघलनी चाहिए, इस हिमालय से कोई गंगा निकालनी चाहिए, Pain has become huge as mountain,it should melt, A Ganga from this Himalaya should come, आज ये दीवार,पर्दों की तरह हिलने लगी, शर्त लेकिन थी की ये बुनियाद हिलनी चाहिए, Today,this wall began to move like curtains, But the condition was that,foundation should move, हर सड़क पर,हर गली में,हर नगर,हर गाँव में, हाथ लहराते हुए हर लाश चलनी चाहिए, On every road,in every street,every town,in every village, By waving hand,each dead body should walk, सिर्फ हंगामा खड़ा करना मेरा मकसद नहीं, सारी कोशिश है की ये सूरत बदलनी चाहिए, My aim is not only to create a ruckus, All efforts are so that condition should change, मेरे सीने में नहीं तो तेरे सीने में सही, हो कहीं भी आग, लेकिन आग जलनी चाहिए। If not in my heart than in your heart, Wherever fire be,but there should be fire,
