रंगो का त्यौहार - होली ! Holi is celebrated as festival of communal harmony in which Muslim friends are also invited in 'Holi Milan Samarohs' (Holi festival gatherings) and all enjoyed collectively. The practice has not vanished but is limited to few people and in few areas from last four to five years when animosity among the communities has increased due to 'Us' vs 'Them' politics. In this poem I wish the festival of color and joy bring happiness to all equally again. Festival of Colors - Holi Holi is the Indian festival of colors. Colors denotes respect,joy and compassion towards each other that's why people forget all their differences during this festival. Like each year I also have to offer something on this occasion, so here I am presenting a poem with the flavor of the season. Happy Holi to all. May the festival help us strengthen our relations with each other.  The festival of color has all the required notion, to spread the flavors of joy,of love and compassion. Hug each other and forget all differences & tension, for creating sweet memories this is perfect occasion. There are who even pollute this festival's loving tradition, ignore and stop them to play colors with passion. Life is tough, at each step offers various prohibition, live that day as celebration of god's favorite creation. #######

बुरा न मानो होली है।  Holi is an Indian festival of colors which is celebrated by spreading love, happiness and togetherness. On this day we forget each other's mistakes and unites to make our lives colorful. This festival has also a tradition of leg-pulling through 'Hasya Kavita ' (Humorous Poetry) or by naughty acts and if someone becomes angry or feel offended the best way to come out of situation is by saying 'Bura Na Mano Holi Hai' (Take it easy it's Holi time mate). I have here imagined a conversation between two stalwarts of Indian politics Prime Minister Narender Modi and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi blaming each other in a fun way. होली के बहाने आज। (Holi Ke Bahane Aaja !) Holi is the Indian festival of colors which marks the victory of good over evil , the victory of Prahlada over his aunt Holika   . This festival is also a festival of love and to unite forgetting all our differences. The association of this festival with Lord Krishna give it a touch of mischief and naughtiness. His Raslila with Radha and other  gopis  are also linked to it. Here I am presenting a Hindi song depicting this flirting ( sorry for the absence of music ) but Bura Na Mano Holi Hai . होली का पर्व। (Holi Ka Parv) The unique festival of holi celebrated all over the India marks the importance of colors in our life. It is these colors which makes our life vibrant and enjoyable. This festival hides in itself the winning of good over evil ( Holika died in fire in spite having fire proof body when planned to kill Prahalad) along with the mischievousness of Krishna. Here in this song I have tried to show each color of Holi.
