नई दुनिया, नई उम्मीद, नया साल। (Nayee Duniya, Nayee Ummeed, Naya Saal) New World, New Hopes, New Year.  Every new year brings new hope for a better self and a better world. This year also going to end today and here I have penned an eight line bilingual poem for the occasion. Wishing everyone a great, healthy and prosperous year ahead. Lets Pray For Tomorrow, Lets Pray For A Better Future, Happily Together Where Can Live God's All Creature. बीते साल के  सारे दर्दों को मिटा देंगे, गलतियों से सबक लेकर नए इंसान बनेंगे।   Beete Saal Ke Sare Dardon Ko Mita Denge, Galtiyon Se Sabak Lekar Naye Insaan Banenge. Will Prevail Hope From Corner To Corner, Will Become A Better Listener & A Better Learner.

प्यार की राह चुने। (Pyaar Ki Raah Chune) Season of love starts with valentine week i.e the various days denoted to express your feelings for somebody. Feb 7 is Rose Day, Feb 8 is Propose Day then comes Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Hug Day, Kiss Day and finally Valentine Day from 9th to 14th February respectively. I believe that love needs no day to express but in the popular culture if we have a dedicated day for it enjoy it fully with your loved one. Here in this Hindi poem there is a conversation between a boy and a girl of expressing their love for each other. They think that the world and the society always remain against those who love so they must unite without thinking about anybody but only about their love. They decided to walk on the path of love leaving hatred aside. I hope you will enjoy this poem. तंग आ चुके हैं कश्मकश-ए-ज़िन्दगी से हम। ( I am fed up with life's dilemma ) - Sahir Ludhianvi This Sahir Ludhianv i's Ghazal used in two Hindi movies Pyasa (1957) and Light House (1958) is tale of a person who is fed up from his life and wants to renounce this world. The person received only betrayal,alienation,distrust and disgust of the world rather than love, hope, compassion and sympathy. He in this ghazal also blames god for his condition for neglecting him and his state in life. I was looking for Sahir Ludhianvi's ghazals for translation from a long time and I chose this because it holds the touch of sufism and points out at futility of this life which unable to give any reason to stay in it. तू मै,मै तू हो गया।(You Became I,I Became You) "मन तू शुदम तू मन शुदी, मन तन शुदम तू जान शुदी, ताकस न गोयद बाद अज़ीन,                         मन दिगारम तू दिगारी,"_ अमीर खुसरो  These lines of Amir Khusrow which means"I have became you,and you me,I am the body ,you soul, so that no one can say hereafter, that you are someone and me someone else," inspired me to write this poem "Tu mein mein tu ho gaya," whose first four lines are translation of above lines. तू मै ,मै तू हो गया, मै जिस्म हूँ,तू रूह मेरी, कहने को अब है क्या बचा,                                             न तू मुझसे न मै तुझसे जुदा। You became I, I became you, You are soul, I am the body, What else I would say, We are not different,we are one. मुझ पर हसी दुनिया सभी, जो तुझमें मै इतना खो गया, हस कर क्या मेरा छीना, ...

तेरे साय को तो चाहने दे। तेरे साय को तो चाहने दे, उसको तो मुझसे दूर न कर,मुझे पाने दे, तेरे साय को तो चाहने दे। पानी सा शीतल है वो तो, बादल सा कोमल है वो तो, इस दुनिया के बहकावे में उसको ना आने दे, तेरे साय को तो चाहने दे। कुछ देर वही तो रूककर,वक़्त मुझे दे देता है, मुझको वही तो छूकर एहसास तेरा दे देता है, डर कर संगदिल दुनिया से क्यूँ कहीं और उसे जाने दे, तेरे साय को तो चाहने दे। मेरी तरह वो भी शर्मीला सा लगता है, देख कर मुझको वो भी इधर-उधर छुप जाता है, ये ही अदा तो कातिल है,यूं ही उसे शर्माने दे, तेरे साय को तो चाहने दे।उसको तो मुझसे दूर न कर,मुझे पाने दे। ना हस्ता है ना रोता है,चुप चाप है मेरी ही तरह, दर्द अब वो सहता है,सहता था मै जिस तरह, आँखें कभी-कभी नम मगर करलेता है, कर लेने दे। तेरे साय को तो चाहने दे।

तक़दीर (Taqdeer) किसी के छींकने से पहले रुमाल हाज़िर है, कोई दिन रात भी छींके तो एक कत्तर नहीं मिलती। Kisi ke cheenkne se pehle rumal haazir hai, Koi din raat bhi cheenke to ek kattar nahin milti. कोई सोए है मखमल पर,है गर जागे तो फूलों से, कोई सोने को भी तरसे जो सोये भी तो काँटों पे। Koi soye hai makhmal par,hai gar jaage to phulon se, Koi sone ko bhi tarse jo soye bhi to kanto pe. किसी को लाल जोड़ा भी है कुरता भी तो अचकन भी, कोई नंगे बदन भी हो तो न मिले हमदर्दी ही। Kisi ko laal joda bhi hai kurta bhi to achkan bhi, Koi nange badan bhi ho to na mile hai humdardi. कोई मुस्कुराए तो संग मुस्काती है दुनिया, कोई चुप भी रहे तो हसकर चली जाती है दुनिया। Koi muskuraye to sang muskati hai duniya, Koi chup bhi rahe to haskar chali jati hai duniya. कोई क़त्ल भी कर दे तो सलाम मिलता है, किसी की ठोकर पे भी फंदा सरे आम मिलता है। Koi katl bhi kar de to salaam milta hai, Kisi ki thokar pe bhi fanda sare aam milta hai.
