Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed This poem portrays how a true friend should be and includes the premier post (in this case Prime Minister Narendra Modi) as the most trusted friend. All friends' including him should not betray their friends by not extending help to those who are in fear & threatened. Friendship day is round the corner so I hope this related poem would be loved. International Women's Day A man is nothing without a woman in his life still women struggles to get her desired position in life because men consider himself a better sex. Let's create a world where women is not placed as equal but ahead of men. Happy Women's Day a poem dedicated to all women.  You are the start you are the end and anything in between, without you world is deprived of its present sheen, You hold us, you support us, you lead us, you make us, you break us, you feed us. New Year, New Beginning 2015 is counting its days. This year like all previous years gave us some good and bad memories. There were incidents of racial abuse, color discrimination, terrorism, environmental issues and refugee crisis similarly there were also incidents of opening doors for refugees, standing against abuses and abolishing of discrimination. This year also saw many ups and downs in Indian diaspora. Some unexpected victories, some obvious defeats, eating habits issues, religious hatred, cultural hatred, injustices,befriending a neighbor while turning away from another, farmers suicide et cetera mainly there are more bad news than good news for India in this year but still when we came united during Chennai Floods, FTII students and farmers suicide we became a stronger nation. Now the new year has brought new opportunities to amend our mistakes and start fresh with high spirits to do something good for the country and the world. Happy New Year to all. Dear world...

Let Them Be Children  14th November is celebrated as Children's Day in India, it is the birthday of India's first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru  who was very fond of children. Children are free spirited and we must let them as they are and dream for themselves, Happy Children's Day Don't stop , don't interrupt  let their dreams fly, let them touch the sky, let them have fun,let them learn let them be children. Don't pressurize, don't criticize  let them choose their way, bookish knowledge do stay, but there are books beyond books, which change how we looks  and how things we churn, let them be children. Don't judge,don't grudge let their innocence prevail, let them come out of shell, let aim them high,let dream them high, because dreams make future turn  let them be children. सिंघासन ख़ाली करो कि जनता आती है। (Vacate the throne,for people are coming) : Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar' Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar' wrote this poem when India became a republic on 26th January 1956. This poem is about the power of the people. India's population was 33 crore at that time,they were all the witness of an era of slavery. It was the time when the meek people of the land would collectively rule this country. This idea is beautifully woven in this poem. He states that now people have the power to rule themselves.This poem was also used by J.P.Narayan to attract and encourage lakhs of people in Ramlila Maidan,Delhi during emergency.
