रमज़ान मुबारक। 


We are lucky to witness one more month of Ramzaan in our life. The month when Allah shower his blessings with open hands. A moment to repent all our sins and to pray for a better life ahead. Happy Ramzaan to all. 


रहमतें, बरकतें और अपनी मोहब्बत का करम फरमाना,
रमज़ान के महीने में गुनाहों से हमें बचाना,
ऐ अल्लाह हमें मांगना भी नहीं आता,
तू बिन मांगे ही सब देता है, रोज़े रखना भी आसान बनना।  
Rahmatein,Barkatein Aur Apni Mohabbat Ka Karam Farmana,
Ramzaan Ke Mahine Mein Gunahon Se Hamein Bachana,
Ae Allah Hamein Mangna Bhi Nahin Aata,
Tu Bin Maange Hi Sab Deta Hai, Roze Rakhna Bhi Aasan Banana.

Shower Your blessings in this benevolence month of Ramzaan,
Wash all our sins in this merciful month of Ramzaan,
You know all and we don't know how to pray,
Bless us so that easily in fasting (Roza) we can stay.

    Poem with divine force this Ramzaan. Wish you courage for Ramadan. I am starting something to better understand Islam, will read the Quran that I got as a gift from Delhi. We need to understand each other's culture:)

The Seven Stages Of Love(इश्क़ के सात मक़ाम) Arabic literature and sufi traditions describes seven stages of love and after the movie 'Dedh Ishqiya'  all of us also knew that these seven stages of love are दिलकशी (Attraction),उन्स (Attachment),मोहब्बत (Love),अक़ीदत (Trust/Reverence),इबादत (Worship),जूनून (Madness) and मौत (Death) . At this time of the year ( Valentine Week) when the   Love is in the air    I am sharing my couplets (शेर ) which are based on these seven stages of love written at different times. Na Muhn Chupa Ke Jiye Hum Na Sar Jhuka Ke Jiye

न मुहँ छुपा के जीए हम न सर झुका के जीए। (Na Muhn Chupa Ki Jiye Hum Na Sar Jhuka Ke Jiye) -  I am sharing here a ' Qita ' written by Sahir Ludhianvi which is recently used in Hindi movie 'Sanju '. A song inspired from it also penned by Sahir for the film ' Humraaz' (1967 ) staring Sunil Dutt in the lead role. Literal meaning of Qata is ‘separated’. Qata stands for a series of couplets in a ghazal having continuity of thought. A ghazal having one or more Qatas is called Qata-Band ghazal . Qatas also have independent existence comprising at least four lines. In a Qata , the second and fourth lines follow the same rhyming scheme. (Qita meaning from Rekhta ).
