 मोको कहाँ ढूंढे रे बन्दे                                                                                               
मै तो तेरे पास  में 

Where do you search me?
I am with you


ना तीरथ में ना मूरत में 
ना एकांत निवास में
ना मंदिर में ना मस्जिद में 
ना काबे कैलास में 
मै तो तेरे पास में बन्दे 
मै तो तेरे पास में 

Not in pilgrimage,nor in icons
Neither in solitude resides
Not in temples,nor in mosques
Neither in Kaba nor in Kailas
I am with you o man
I am with you


ना में जप में ना में तप में 
ना में बरत उपास में 
ना में क्रिया करम में रहता 
नहिं जोग संन्यास में 
ना ब्रह्माण्ड आकाश में 
ना में प्रकृति प्रवार गुफा में 
नहिं स्वांसो की स्वांस में 

Not in prayers,nor in meditation
Neither in fasting or prohibition
Not in vedic procedure
Nor in yogic postures
Not even in sky or universe
Neither in womb of nature
Not in the breath of the breaths


खोजि होए तुरत मिल जाऊं 
इक पल की तालास में 
कहत कबीर सुनो भई साधो 
मै तो हूँ विश्वास में . 
 If you are a true seeker
In a moment than you discover
Says Kabir,listen with care
Where your faith is,I am there.

The Seven Stages Of Love(इश्क़ के सात मक़ाम) Arabic literature and sufi traditions describes seven stages of love and after the movie 'Dedh Ishqiya'  all of us also knew that these seven stages of love are दिलकशी (Attraction),उन्स (Attachment),मोहब्बत (Love),अक़ीदत (Trust/Reverence),इबादत (Worship),जूनून (Madness) and मौत (Death) . At this time of the year ( Valentine Week) when the   Love is in the air    I am sharing my couplets (शेर ) which are based on these seven stages of love written at different times. Na Muhn Chupa Ke Jiye Hum Na Sar Jhuka Ke Jiye

न मुहँ छुपा के जीए हम न सर झुका के जीए। (Na Muhn Chupa Ki Jiye Hum Na Sar Jhuka Ke Jiye) -  I am sharing here a ' Qita ' written by Sahir Ludhianvi which is recently used in Hindi movie 'Sanju '. A song inspired from it also penned by Sahir for the film ' Humraaz' (1967 ) staring Sunil Dutt in the lead role. Literal meaning of Qata is ‘separated’. Qata stands for a series of couplets in a ghazal having continuity of thought. A ghazal having one or more Qatas is called Qata-Band ghazal . Qatas also have independent existence comprising at least four lines. In a Qata , the second and fourth lines follow the same rhyming scheme. (Qita meaning from Rekhta ).
